Five factors of ACTION - Doer Desires & Supersoul Sanctions!

BG 18.14

  1. adhiṣṭhānam—place (Body)
  2. kartā—worker (Soul)
  3. karaṇam—instruments (Senses)
  4. ceṣṭāḥ—endeavor (Efforts)
  5. daivam—the Supreme (Supersoul)

Example:

We have deposited money into our Bank account !!
Now we need money, but

  1. adhiṣṭhānam—place
  • Internet is working
  • Internet Banking isn’t working
  • Branch timings are over
  1. kartā—worker (Soul)
  • Hand is injured and so unable to sign
  • Legs are injured and so unable to walk
  1. karaṇam—instruments (Senses)
  • Smartphone isn’t working
  • ATM not working
  • Card is lost
  • Cheque book isn’t available
  1. ceṣṭāḥ—endeavor (Efforts)
  • Sign on cheque isn’t tallying
  1. daivam—the Supreme
  • Bank employees are on strike
  • Some strike is there and we cannot go out

!! 3 Jars of Karma !!

  • Black jar - Fills due to papa karma or impious actions !!
  • White jar - Fills due to Punya karma or pious actions !!
  • Transparent jar - Fills due to Kṛṣṇa conscious actions !!

BG 3.27 The person in material consciousness is convinced by false ego that he is the doer of everything.

Doer Desires & Supersoul Sanctions based on the Karma Bank of the Doer & again Karma Account is filled with the results into White or Black Karma jar/account, due to this ACTION !!

The supersoul sanctions the results of an action based upon a living entity’s karma. Thus, by understanding that we are not the determiner of the results of our action, one can save themselves from the onslaught of depression which is primarily due to mismatch between reality & expectations. Knowing this, we can be positively motivated to act without worrying about the results.

The Lord is also not directly responsible, for everything is done by His deputed māyā-śakti, or material energy !!

Devotee Desires, i.e. Servant Serves to please Lord Kṛṣṇa Senses, i.e. Kṛṣṇa conscious activities, with the results into TRANSPARENT jar (Kṛṣṇa’s or Government account) !!

Anyone who is acting in Kṛṣṇa consciousness under the direction of the Supersoul or the Supreme Personality of Godhead, even though killing, does not kill. Nor is he ever affected by the reaction of such killing. When a soldier kills under the command of a superior officer, he is not subject to be judged. But if a soldier kills on his own personal account, then he is certainly judged by a court of law.

BG 5.8-9 Therefore, the Kṛṣṇa conscious person is always free, even though he appears to be engaged in affairs of the senses. Activities such as seeing and hearing are actions of the senses meant for receiving knowledge, whereas moving, speaking, evacuating, etc., are actions of the senses meant for work. A Kṛṣṇa conscious person is never affected by the actions of the senses. He cannot perform any act except in the service of the Lord because he knows that he is the eternal servitor of the Lord.
